Under a ban
Today in Ukraine nobody knows exactly and cannot know the truth about the quality of natural environment as there is no material, technical and professional facilities to monitor thereof.

Life vs. GDP
Ukraine has once again survived in the whirlpool of the presidential election, without having heard the most important of the usual promises to improve the economy – the guarantees of health and long life of the Ukrainians. Representing the interests of movers and shakers of the country, all candidates had scruples about raising the environmental issue on which it directly depends.

Paper recycling
Almost 2,5 million tons of extremely hazardous wastes are produced annually in Ukraine. Recovered and destructed ones do not exceed 10%. Out of the 280 specialized companies licensed to manage hazardous wastes, only about 230 ones have an office and bank account at their disposal. In fact, hazardous wastes are collected and stored only on paper.
